Mayor Formally Reopens Chesterfield Branch
The Mayor of Chesterfield, Councillor Barry Bingham has formally reopened the newly refurbished Chesterfield branch.
In a ceremony at the branch on Monday 23 November, Barry was joined by customers, staff and board members in celebrating the successful completion of the revamp.
The branch was first opened in 1988, meaning that the Society has had a presence in the town for 27 years.
Commercial Development Executive, Richard Crisp, said that the refurbishment was part of an ongoing commitment to the Society's branch network and the Chesterfield community:
"The new look and feel that visitors can expect from our Chesterfield branch represents our belief in the value that face-to-face personal service brings to savings, mortgages and local communities. Our customers will receive a warm welcome in Chesterfield when they arrive and as we now have a CeMAP qualified mortgage advisor onsite, we can improve the service levels even further."
"After 27 years serving the Chesterfield community as a local building society, we're looking forward to further supporting home ownership and helping more people save for the future."
