Show FAQ - When do you charge Early Repayment Charges (ERCs)?

We’ll apply an early repayment charge if, before the end of the early repayment charge period you:

  • ask and we agree to transfer of your loan to a new mortgage product
  • repay before the date on the redemption statement

The charge will never be more than the maximum amount set out in your most recent Mortgage Offer and European Standardised Information Sheet (ESIS), and will be based on:

  • whether you repay all or part of the loan
  • the amount you owe when you make the payment.

Your most recent Mortgage Offer, ESIS and annual mortgage statement give details of any early repayment charges that apply to you.

If you are thinking of making an additional payment to your mortgage, or would like to repay your mortgage in full and would like to know what the early repayment charge would be, please complete the simple enquiry form and we will respond to your request as soon as possible.
